Paul Katsafanas is Professor of Philosophy at Boston University.  He works on ethics, moral psychology, and nineteenth-century philosophy.  He has published three books, including most recently The Philosophy of Devotion: The Longing for Invulnerable Ideals (Oxford University Press, 2022).  His recent work focuses on devotion, commitment, and fanaticism.  You can read more about his work here.

Jesse L. Preston is Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Warwick.  Her work focuses on the psychology of belief and what makes beliefs meaningful.  She has published many articles exploring the psychological causes and effects of religious and spiritual experiences.  You can read more about her work here.

Pol Pardini Gispert is a philosophy Ph.D. student at Boston University. His interests are in ethics, moral psychology, and epistemology. His dissertation research focuses on fanaticism and the moral and epistemic vices that are associated with fanatics, conspiracy theorists, and fundamentalists. ​
